Newt
-
A thrush flew overhead, perching on a tree branch to groom itself. The figure behind it stopped, crouching to observe the avian. A small smile of pride made its way onto his face as he watched it. The last time he had checked there were no thrushes in site, but now that the weather was starting to warm up he had been spotting them frequently. "I was worried for quite a while you know. Thought you guys had finally gone endangered. Were those mean old predators trying to eat you all?" He knew that they were a primary food source for some of the clans, but the thought of a species disappearing forever filled him with dread. While following the bird's journey, he had unknowingly crossed into new territory.

Health: 100 p, 100 m

Newt
-[size=9]
He was rather surprised at the sound of a voice from behind him, turning around to see a rabbit staring at him. Now, he had never seen one talk before, and let a small frown of confusion pass over his face. Was she a unique case, or were all rabbits able to do so? "Riverclan? I'm afraid I've never heard of it before, sorry. If I may inquire, your a rabbit, correct?"
He was waiting for a response when another person spoke. Where were they coming from? This time it was a snow leopard, yet another species he hadn't encountered yet. "Fascinating." He murmured. "Um, Newt, pleasure to meet you both. My business? Well, I was just watching that thrush and happened to pass over the border." It sounded a bit odd out loud, but it was the truth.
As if two wasn't already a party, a third person made themselves present, this one an even more interesting sight than the previous two. At first he appeared to be a timber wolf, which would have been delightful by itself, but his tail appeared to belong to a crocodile. "Uh, pleasure to meet you. Would you mind if I looked at your tail for a second or two?"

[size=9]He paced around the wolf, observing the tail from several angles without touching it. Measuring a good five to six feet, it seemed to perfectly replicate a reptiles, perhaps with the exception of thickness. Let's see, hard and rough scales covered the outside of it, presumably tough enough to prevent serious injuries. "How much do you think it would hurt to get smacked by it?" He questioned. "And how hard do you think you could swing it? On a scale from 'almost knock over somebody' to 'take down a tree."
He would've asked some more questions, but he was interrupted by a dog coming up from behind him. He was surprised by their condition though, especially the severed arm. What had happened? "Sticking around?" He hadn't really thought of it, groups weren't that close to his comfort zone. "Well yes, at least until I've gathered enough information."

[size=9]Kids by themselves were alright, but lost ones made him nervous. It's not that he didn't love kids, he had a soft spot for them, it's just that he was afraid something might happen to them on his watch. It made him feel better that some of the other clan members were already here, but there was still a small feeling of dread in his stomach. "Hello there!" He greeted. "I beleive you open a coconut by cracking it on something. Have you seen a rock around here? Maybe I could get it open for you." One of the other members could explain where she was, he just wanted to keep her from panicking.

[size=9]Even if the timber wolf was a bit overconfident, Newt's spirit didn't dampen, and he eagerly made a mental note. He was tempted to ask if the apprentice would knock him over just so he could be sure, but it probaly wasn't the best idea. "Wait, I have an idea!" He exclaimed, and quickly fetched a small coconut from nearby. "Could you try to smash this?" He wasn't sure how much force it took to crack one open, but it was a decent idea.

[size=9]He looked back with a big smile of his own, letting out a small laugh. "Fantastic!" He exclaimed, examining the coconut. A medium sized crack had appeared from where the tail had hit it, milk now running out onto the ground. "I've never seen an appendage exhibit that much strength!" He then turned to where Ramses was sitting, gesturing happily to the fruit. "Did you see that?"
-
Newt
-
[size=9]He continued to smile as the retriever offered him some of the fruit, slightly shaking his head. "Ah no thanks, it might not be able to stay down there long with the excitement." It was a stupid thing to say, but at the moment he didn't care much. Not many things made him happier then finding out something new about an animal. It sounded silly because he was also one, but still. "Hudson, right?"

[size=9]Following behind by foot was Newt, softly humming as he walked down the street. He was old enough to drive, but preferred taking the time to look at the scenery rather than rushing by it. A couple minutes later he arrived at the given address, noticing that Esca at the doorstep. Standing at 6 feet, he had to tilt his head up to look at her. "Lovely evening."

[size=9]He slightly frowned at the joke, trying his best to hide the fact that his mouth was twitching. Once he had regained his composure, Newt nodded in agreement. "Well, I've been found of studying creatures for a while, and one day my mother found me playing with some newts by the pond, which is how I got it. Why are you named Hudson? You don't look much like a river."
//neither of them would even get that, but eh

Newt can be that one friend who's always getting into trouble, and in the process gets his pals in trouble also. And that person who's always asking people to do things out of curiosity.
As for keeping secrets, he'd be open for that to. Might reveal his secret in the process
-
yeah, those two just mashed together
-
Pss, Newt's open for friendship, romance, nature talks, and cuddling
-
Alrighty, I'll look forward to it!
Might not respond till the morning though, it's midnight here

[size=9]The apprentice's question caught his attention, and he turned around to get a better look. "Well, your clan mate over here is probably the coolest person I've met recently." He admitted, gesturing to Crocodilepaw. "When I was little I met a dragon though. She was huge, filling up a whole forest clearing." His eyes slightly clouded at the memory. "The story didn't have a happy ending though, and she was killed by a group of rouges."
